Marcus Q. Elliott, Sr., CPA

Marc began his career in public accounting in January 1982, serving primarily closely-held and family-owned businesses. He specializes in the areas of tax planning, business consulting, auditing, accounting and financial planning. He focuses on professional practices, service-based businesses, wholesale/distribution companies as well as non-profit and government entities.
Marc received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Wofford College in 1982 and has been licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in South Carolina since 1984. He is a current member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the South Carolina Association of CPAs.
Marc is a member of Bethel United Methodist Church of Spartanburg and has a passion for community outreach, formerly serving as a board member for Miracle Hill Ministries. He enjoys a variety of extracurricular activities including playing guitar, reading, skeet shooting, and spending time with his family. Marc is also an instrument-rated commercial pilot. He and his wife, Cathy, enjoy taking long, cross-country trips throughout the Eastern and Midwest parts of the United States. Marc currently serves on the board as Treasurer of the Spartanburg Pilot’s Association.
