As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) at Elliott & Painter, Teresa handles individual and corporate tax preparation for many industries, primarily medical, dental, and nonprofit. She also assists clients onsite with their daily activities such as QuickBooks, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and more.

Teresa brings over 20 years of experience to her role at Elliott & Painter, having worked for CPA firms for over 13 years before joining our team. She is proficient in QuickBooks. Teresa is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (SCACPA). She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in public and managerial accounting from the University of South Carolina Spartanburg.

Outside of the office, Teresa is an active member of Stable Life Worship Center, where she volunteers and serves on the financial team and other committees. She also enjoys antiquing, shopping, crafts, decorating, camping, and spending time with family. Teresa is blessed with a wonderful husband, four amazing children, and three beautiful grandchildren. She and her husband love to travel and stay in unique places like tiny houses and B&Bs. They are currently remodeling their 100-year-old home in Landrum.
