Tammy has worked in public accounting for nearly 30 years and has held the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation since 2000. She joined the Elliott & Painter team in 2019. She serves as the firm’s Audit, Accounting & Quality Control partner, using her expertise to grow and lead the Audit practice and provide a valuable service to clients.
She specializes in nonprofit and government audits along with Yellow Book audits, working to uphold the standards for financial audits of organizations or entities that receive financial assistance from the federal government. She also handles small business audits, nonprofit and business reviews, and audits and reviews of contractors for licensing.
Tammy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (SCACPA). She holds a B.A. in Accounting from Wofford College.
With a heart for helping others, Tammy has served on the board of directors of several nonprofits, including the Carolina Pregnancy Center and the Spartanburg Breakfast Optimist Club. She is active at Roebuck Baptist Church and is a member of the media team and Finance Committee. She enjoys reading, going to the beach, and spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren.
