Angela works as a senior accountant at Elliott & Painter, preparing and reviewing business, nonprofit, trust, and individual tax returns. She also works with reviews. She serves as a helping hand, assisting staff as needed with any issues that arise.
She has over 25 years of experience in accounting, including corporate, partnership, nonprofit, trust, individual tax preparation, account and ledger reconciliations, financial reporting, audits, reviews, and payroll preparation and review. Before joining Elliott & Painter, Angela worked as a senior accountant at Holcombe, Holtzclaw & Ravan. She also worked as a senior accountant at Norman, Johnson & Co.
Angela is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed to practice in South Carolina. She graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina-Upstate. She also holds a Master in Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Accounting from Winthrop University.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. She is active in her church and loves to help others when she can. She has four children: Leah (14), Joshua (13), Declan (9), and Fiona (6). Her kids are very active and involved, so she spends most of her time at soccer games, musical concerts, karate, and more. She and her husband, Richard (who is originally from Ireland), have been married for almost 18 years.
